Daily price changes are limited however it is not always possible to match buyers and sellers on the same day before prices update. Dune makes no promise of profit or resale. If prices move too far from the price you are happy to sell you can cancel your listing and wait for the price to improve.

17. Can I cancel a stake listing? Yes, you can cancel a listing anytime and keep your stake.

18. What if prices change before my stake sells? Buyers and sellers are matched as soon as possible. However prices may change over this time and buyers and sellers are always matched at the current price at the time the transaction can be completed.

19. Are there any fees to use Dune as a fan? There is no subscription to use Dune. Buyers and sellers of stakes are charged transaction fees. These are typically $1.50 up to 5% depending on the value and domestic currency, and will be automatically calculated and added when you buy or sell an artist stake. You can view all your transactions and fees in your Dune transaction history.

20. Are there any fees to use Dune as an Artist? There is no subscription to use Dune or claim your profile as an artist. Once an artist commences a sale 10% of each new stake will be retained by Dune. For transactions of existing stakes Dune charges a small transaction fee to the buyer and the seller. In turn the artist will recieve a portion of this as a royalty.

21. I have a stake and streams went up today but the price has not, why? The Dune dynamic pricing model calculates prices based on monthly average streams updated daily. This smooths out any temporary spikes and keeps prices stable. It may take more than a short term spike or dip in streaming to meaningfully effect price.

22. Are there any transaction or price limits? Yes, Stake values cannot go below a $5 price floor and the upper limit for stake prices is $100.

23. Yesterday my stake was $99 but today it is only $50, what happened? When a stake value reaches $100 a "stake split" occurs automatically. This means for every stake in that artist you owned, you now have two at half the value. So the total value has not changed but the stakes are more affordable in the marketplace.

24. Is Dune an NFT or cryptocurrency? A Dune Stake is a collectible fan token not a form of cryptocurrency or NFT. Dune is a centralised platform designed specifically for buying or selling artist stakes which are a digital product for the purpose of accesing stakeholder benefits. A Dune stake is a digital collectable/fan engagement token, and not an investment or security.

25. What is the Dune dynamic pricing model? Dune's dynamic pricing model is a method of ensuring artist stake values remain fair and represent artist popularity. The dynamic pricing model takes into account monthly average streams updated daily. This change is applied to price within certain parameters with upper and lower limits to ensure price stability.

26. I own an artist stake but there are no benefits available? It might not always be possible for the artist to offer a benefit all of the time. If there are no benefits currently available be patient your favourite artist will add a benefit soon. While you are a stakeholder you're entitled to any benefits the artist may offer. These can range from exclusive content and ticket pre-sales to special events and giveaways.

27. What about insider buying or manipulation? The Dune marketplace has been specifically designed to ensure a safe and fair environment and that it is only possible to benefit from the proper use of the platform. Dune stakes are not an investment and there is no promise of resale. The Dune marketplace is not based on supply and demand so cannot be manipulated in that way. Artists receive 90% of revenue from stake sales so it would be pointless to enguage in insider buying. Insiders would be paying themselves and essentially losing 10% plus fees on every stake. Price manipulation is also not possible as the Dune dynamic pricing model is based on popularity metrics which Dune decides and these are difficult to fabricate, again when there is no promise of resale and insiders profit from genuine sales there is no financial benefit to engaging this type of behaviour.
